Investigation Activities

Shore Paranormal Research Society will conduct a thorough investigation of the paranormal activity. Using a scientific approach, each observation will be questioned carefully and documented. Due to our diverse backgrounds and experiences, we may be able to offer simple explainations of the events you have experienced. Paranormal Activity simply means that your experiences are outside of a typical expectation and/or explaination. We will be able to help.

    The Investigation: Lights Out

  • Once Command Central has been established the team will divide into Investegatory Pairs. It is essential that an investigator is never alone. The explanation for this protocal is two-fold. First, safety. An investigator acting indepedently is placing themselves at great risk for injury. Second, a paired invesigator has the ability to offer an alternative explaination for an event or validate its occurance.
  • Next, investigators must establish a base level for metered readings. EM field strength and temperature are essential to determine whether changes to the readings during the investigation are a result of man-made/natural fluctuations or the presence of a new influence. We will also take the opportunity to take digital photos of the enviornment as a control image used for comparison in the event of an anomoly in a secondary photo during the investigation.
  • Around 9PM, Command Central will issue a rotation schedule for investigators and issue the "lights out" order. The first and/or second team will begin their investigation. During a typical investigation each team will use a variety of tools (See Technology) for the investigation.
  • It has been our experience that activity builds during the early evening hours and an influence is often witnessed around 11PM, peaking between 1-2 AM. It is important to remember that paranormal activity can occur at any time and does not perform for investigators.
